Massive Tax Savings for Learnerships
According to Section 12H of the Income Tax Act, by implementing a learnership within your organisation you can benefit by gaining a R60 000 tax rebate per learner. The objective of this tax incentive is to encourage job creation by reducing the cost of hiring and training employees through learnerships and to encourage human capacity development.
A further learnership grant is available from the various Seta's to the value of R18 000 per learner.
"Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is a process whereby, through assessment, credit is given to learning which has already been acquired in different ways". – SAQA
Should you wish your staff to be RPL'd, they will not lose any time in training and will use the knowledge they have gained through workplace experience to complete their PoE. Alternatively the learners will training. Learners have between six and 12 months to complete our qualifications.

The National Certificate in Business
Administration (NQF Level 4) provides office
professionals with a recognised qualification
from one of South Africa's leading training
providers. The breadth of the modules will
provide you with the core competencies that
will enable you to take on a broader role,
increased management responsibilities and
offer greater contributions to your manager
and team.
The National Certificate is awarded on the
basis of attendance of a five day
programmeme and on completion of postcourse
assignments (Portfolio of Evidence).
This flexible programmeme can be
completed in between 3 and 12 months of
taking the first module.
Qualification Objectives
On achieving this qualification, the learner
will:
- Develop administration systems to
control resources and information
- Improve organisational effectiveness by
managing administration records and
assisting others to do so
- Present information correctly through
effective business writing including the
developing of reports
- Have knowledge of the procedure for
stock and fixed asset control
- Identify and manage service providers
- Comply with organisation's ethics and
code of conduct
- Set personal goals and develop and
manage yourself in a business context
- Be aware of how fraud can be detected
in an office environment and assisting in
its control and eradication
- Display cultural awareness in dealing
with customers and colleagues and
utilising the differences in a positive way
to enhance the effectiveness and image
of the organisation
- Identify and solve work related problems
to aid the effectiveness of the
organisation
- Apply efficient time management
processes, procedures and techniques
- Be an effective team member and utilise
diversity to its fullest capacity
- Become a knowledgeable worker and be
able to monitor the media, conduct basic
research and understand the global
positioning of your organisation
Qualification Designed For
The National Certificate in Business
Administration Level 4 is designed to meet
the needs of those learners who are already
involved, or wish to become involved, in the
field of administration. Learners accessing
this qualification are assumed to be
competent in: Communication at NQF Level
3, Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 3 and
Computer Literacy at NQF Level 3.
Day 1 – Personal effectiveness and ethics
- Achieve personal effectiveness in a
business environment
- Comply with organisational ethics
- Describe and assist in the control of fraud
in an office environment
- Display cultural awareness in dealing
with customers and colleagues
- Apply efficient time management to the
work of a department/division/section
Day 2 – Finance, budgeting and
fundamental maths
- Use mathematics to investigate and
monitor the financial aspects of personal,
business, national and international
issues
- Apply knowledge of statistics and
probability to critically interrogate and
effectively communicate findings on life
related problems
- Measure, estimate and calculate physical
quantities and explore, critique and
prove geometrical relationships in 2 and
3 dimensional space in life and
workplace of adult with increasing
responsibilities
- Manage expenditure against a budget
- Describe and apply the management of
stock and fixed assets in a business unit
Day 3 – Contracts, service providers and
managing administration
- Work as a project team member
- Contract service providers
- Manage service providers in a selected
organisation
- Develop administrative procedures in a
selected organisation
- Manage administration records
- Coordinate meetings, minor events and
travel arrangements
- Plan and conduct meetings
Day 4 – Core Communication
- Analyse new developments reported in
the media that could impact on a
business sector or industry
- Present information in report format
- Use the writing process to compose texts
required in the business environment
Day 5 – Fundamental Communication
- Accommodate audience and context
needs in oral communication
- Interpret and use information from texts
- Write texts for a range of communicative
contexts
- Interpret a variety of literary texts
- Engage in sustained oral communication
and evaluate spoken texts
- Write for a wide range of contexts
- Process incoming and outgoing
telephone calls
Assessment
After training, personal coaching and
mentoring will take place to assess the
learner and award the qualification.

facilitation and assessment approach and
therefore boasts an exceptionally high
success rate.
Course Duration
Five days of training, thereafter, the learner
is required to produce a Portfolio of Evidence
(POE) A two-day workshop will be hosted six
months after the initial training for further
coaching and mentoring and to assess the
learner's in order to award the qualification.
